Through 209Gives they are bringing the focus to local nonprofits serving residents and the needs of our region. This is a unique and one-of-a-kind event, helping build the capacity of San Joaquin nonprofits through a 24-hour online fundraising event. Poet Laureate Program

In collaboration with San Joaquin County Cities the Foundation is proud to support the Poet Laureate Program through a 3 year funding process. Designed to inspire local residents to establish a life-long appreciation of literature, this is a way to remind the community about the importance of literature and poetry. Poets along with the city and other organizations host spoken word events, book clubs, poetry contests, public readings and much more in their communities.
